As a Christmas gift for her husband, my customer had his grandfather's military memorabilia framed in a shadow box.  Besides a photo and medal rack, she had his grandfather's 'Soldier's Service and Pay Book" and his identification card.

The soldier's service book was opened in the middle to pages on which there was a lot of interesting information written.  The book was attached to the mount board using  a clear polyester film ‘book mount’;  a completely reversible mounting method.

A mahogany moulding from Larson-Juhl’s Brighton collection was chosen for the frame.  Tru Vue’s conservation clear glass was chosen for its 99% UV protection and Peterboro Matboard’s Designer black suede was chosen for the mat.
